The operational area of the officers of Police Chief Commissioner 21 in Hamburg’s harbour district stretch from the harbour to the notorious St. Pauli neighbourhood to the elegant villas of Hamburg’s wealthy aristocrats in Elbchaussee. Their police duties take them time and again to the Elbe Hospital, only a stone’e throw away, where the police and doctors work hand-in-hand. However, conflict seems almost predestined if patient confidentiality is not to be broken or the condition of a patient threatens to prevent an eyewitness statement being taken.
